Price:   The standard price is 45 - 55 Eur per per room per night for two people including breakfast. Other meals (lunches, dinners, light snacks and etc.) available also by prior arrangements. Discounts for longer stay and bigger groups.

We offer the possibility to arrange a holiday for families and friends in quiet countryside location near Kaunas City with  possibility to to use active and cultural holiday advantages. The place is ideal for romantic tranquillity, family vacation, cultural and active tourism. We offer excellent services and homely atmosphere that caters to a thoughtful clientele looking for something a little special. Every morning starts with an excellent breakfast that has earned a lot of compliments from our customers.


Our clients will find something to do all year round: take the walking tour around the village, rent a bike and take a cycling tour, enjoy a horse riding at nearby horse riding school, go for kayaking or boating, enjoy outdoor games, tennis or golf, use our Guided Day Tours and Trips and other attractions in the Kaunas region and the City (museums, clubs, theatres, cafe/restaurants, casinos, adventure parks or go for shopping to the Malls "Akropolis"and "Mega"). Our central location in the middle of Lithuania allows our guests to explore our nature, lovely countryside and famous attractions by making one day rides to most attractive places of Lithuania:   National Parks, Adventure Parks, Water Parks, Zoo Parks, the Capital Vilnius and it’s Old Town, the Trakai Castle, the Soviet Sculpture Park Grutas, the Famous Hill of Crosses, the Coastal Resorts Palanga and Nida and etc.

 

You can choose any activity from the list below and it could be arranged by us with our transfer and guiding or our guests can choose to go on the tour individually using own car and following our given   instructions, maps, directions, names and phone numbers of contact persons on the sites. Activities, tours and trips available for your holiday itinerary at Nemunas Tour Guesthouse

 

 

Day 1.  Arrival and check in at Nemunas Tour Guest house. We can arrange your transfer from the airport. Walking tour or a ride in a cart over the surroundings. Evening home cooked meal using our local produce and own organic vegetables and fruits.

 

Day 2. Guided sightseeing tour of Kaunas City (Panoramic views, the Kaunas Castle, Town Hall, Arch-Cathedral Basilica, Churches, Museums).

After lunch enjoy walking along the Vilniaus Street and Laisves (Freedom) Avenue bustling with street vendors, musicians, cozy cafes and bars. In late afternoon a possibility to take a boat ride down the Nemunas River.

 

Day 3. Horse riding day. Horse riding lessons. Training available every day of the stay. In the riding school you can learn to ride, jump over hindrances and acquire riding abilities. Then you will be able to travel for a while on horseback or in a cart in the environs of Nemunas Valley. Outdoor games and BBQ in the garden at our base after the lessons.

 

Day 4. Nature hiking tour in the Lithuanian Open-Air Museum of Country Life. We will take you to the Museum and will pick you up in the afternoon. Diner in the countryside restaurant on the way back. Outdoor games in the evening.

 

Day 5. Fun day in Pagonija Adventure Park (20 min. from our house). Adventure on climbing Web Tracks and Pagonija (Rock) Wall. Other sportive activities. Outdoor relaxing picnic lunch and refreshing drinks during the tour. Dinner at a local countryside restaurant on the way back.

 

Day 6. Kayaking tour on the surrounding rivers. Relaxing picnic lunch and refreshing drinks during the tour. Dinner at a local countryside restaurant on the way back.

 

Day 7.  Guided tour to Capital Vilnius and Trakai Castle.

 

Day 8. Adventure in   Lokes Peda (Bear Foot ) Adventure Park. This unique experience Park is established at the picturesque valley of the Lokys River for the lovers of active leisure and wild nature (30 min. from our house). Enjoy 6 tracks of different complexity in trees at the height of 2,50–15 m and 3 fly zips offer ultimate excitement for the adrenalin-seekers. Visitors are challenged to pass 60 obstacles that one can find in remote exotic tours only: Monkey bridges, moving logs, Tibetan bridges, nettings, swings, Nepalese bridges, stirrups, pirate ladders, Tarzan leap, Tyrolese fly, etc. It’s not an ordinary attraction – it’s a true experience: you had better believe it!

 

Day 9. Day of outdoor games at our base (volleyball, basketball, football, badminton, croquet, table tennis and etc.) Home cooked delicious lunch with local organic vegetables, fruits and refreshing drinks. Garden picnic in the evening.

 

Day 10. Guided tour to Soviet Sculpture Park in Grutas and Spa Resort Druskininkai. Attractions in the Druskininkai Aqua Park.

 

Day 11. Cycling tour in Nemunas Valley crossing Kamsos Forest Reserve and Pypliu Historical Mound, visiting   countryside Resort of Kacergine and Old Zapyskis Village with the XIX century Chapel. Lunch at the local Countryside Tourism Centre. Swimming in the lake.

Day 12. Day out in the Lithuanian Lake District – Aukštaitija National Park . Boat ride on the lake. Swimming in the lake. Posibility to visit old water mill and Beekeeping Museum.

Day 13. Guided tour to the Hill of Crosses, Siluva and Tytuvenai Monastery.

 

Day 14 - 16. Guided tour to the Baltic Coast Resorts: Nida, Klaipeda or Palanga with overnight ( 1, 2, 3 and more… nights ) stay in the Self-catering Apartment or Hotel. Visits to famous Holiday Resorts Nida, Juodkrante and Maritime Museum on the Curonian Spit, also to the Botanical Garden and Amber Museum in Palanga. Excursion to the largest   unique Japanese Garden project in Europe - The Valley of Singing Stones –“ Madzuchai “, developed by a world famous Japanese landscape architect Hajime Watanabe and a team of Japanese masters. The Museum, implemented next to Palanga resort town, attempts to develop a unique attraction facility for local and inbound tourism (www.madzuchai.lt).
