The begining  of our activity was based on a new Home Stay idea for accommodation in the world tourism industry as a potential economic activity in tourism sector. Home Stay accommodation gives wide focus on traditional life, growing importance of healthy living and food, local culture and customs to attract tourists. Nemunas Tour homestead from the begining is Zabaliunas Family owned accommodation facility and has been open and developing activity since 1999. Homestead was founded and began operations by owners Jurgis and Danute, former Lithuanian Agricultural University teachers, who after internships in Great Britain  decided to take on this exciting, but very new business for Baltics. Later the homestead accommodation business team joined son Linas, and  daughter Indre. 

 

Nemunas Tour  is a modern and cozy family owned Residence, located in the quiet residential area of Ringaudai (western suburbs of Kaunas) and has perfect public transport connections to the main places of  Kaunas -  the second largest City of Lithuania. 
Peaceful setting, beautiful countryside, homely atmosphere. This comfortable eco-friendly facility is heated by Renewable Solar Energy, built with environmentally friendly materials, for the breakfast serving organic and local foods: homemade bread, jam and juices, own ecological berries, fruits and vegetables.

Our site  is close to the  international route -VIA - BALTICA (road E-67/ A-5), connecting Berlin, Warsaw, Kaunas, Riga, Tallinn, Helsinki and St. Petersburg, and is an excellent stopover for road travelers. Also it is an ideal place for a quiet family vacation, for sightseeing visits to the City of Kaunas or for an active holiday in the countryside. Nemunas Tour Country House  is a 3-star class accommodation and offers well furnished and modern style bedrooms with bathrooms facilities, outdoor terraces  with furniture, children playground and wide range of activities in and out.

For bath lovers we offer a cosy bathouse complex, where our guests can relax and enjoy a Finnish sauna with steam or without steam. Visitors who love an active recreation, are offered water activities like  swimming, water cycling, boating or kayaking at nearby Lampedziai lake. To explore the neighbourhood and its suroundings we offer bicycles, Northern  walking sticks, and for those who like emotional games, we invite to play basketball , badminton, field or table tennis. For the youngest guests there is a playground with swings and climbing facilities.
